Nýr og glæsilegur vefur Félagakerfa fór í loftið í dag. Vefurinn var hannaður og forritaður af starfsmönnum Félagkerfa. Með þessu nýja kerfi sér félagið mikil tækifæri tiauka einfaldleika stéttarfélaga í utanumhaldi og rekstri og einnig til að minnka umsýslu. Félagakerfi eru alhliða mínar síður fyrir félagsmenn þar sem þeir geta t.d. afgreitt umsóknir sjálfir frá a-ö.
“Við sjáum fyrir okkur aukna sjálfvirknivæðingu stéttarfélaga og þar með aukna þjónustu við félagsmenn. Félögin flestöll eru enn rekin á gamla mátann. Víða má sjá papparísumsóknir í stórum stílum og er tölvupóstflóðið lítt skárra. Tímasparnaðurinn yrði gígantískur fyrir alla hlutaðeigandi. “

Við vinnu á kerfinu var farið vel yfir hegðun, væntingar og þarfir viðskiptavina Félagakerfa í dag sem og framtíðarviðskiptavina. Þetta var gert með ítarlegum notendarannsóknum og þarfagreiningum. Verkefnið var unnið í nánu samstarfi við starfsfólk Félagakerfa, dk hugbúnaði og jafnframt tóku viðskiptavinir virkan þátt í þróun og prófunum. Einfaldleikinn var látinn ráða för til þess að gera léttara undir mínum síðum og um leið gera upplýsingar félagsmanna aðgengilegri fyrir hvern og einn. Innan tíðar verður allur vefurinn aðgengilegur á ensku.

Þá var mikil áhersla lögð á að öryggi upplýsinga og að gera vefinn aðgengilegan öllum og voru þarfir einstaklinga með sérþarfir s.s. sjónskertra hafðar sérstaklega í huga. Kerfið og vefurinn munu áfram taka breytingum á næstu misserum og haldið verður áfram að þróa og betrumbæta.
